In my opinion, this is a very good espresso. I hate the one reviewer gave it one star because they ordered the wrong pod for their machine. With it being a food product, I wouldn't expect they could return the pods unless there was a defect in manufacturing (which wasn't the case). Back to the product -- of course, it's all a matter of taste. I would suggest you start with one of the sample packets from Espresso Tiamo. That's what I did, and I discovered this gem. Before that, I made the mistake of following the reviews for the Lavazza Gran Crema 40-pack ($28 here on amazon), and knew with the first taste it was not for me. Since it was my mistake for ordering a box of something I hadn't tasted, I just stuck them in the bottom kitchen drawer (who knows, one day I may become desperate for terrible espresso). In the meantime, I'm ordering more of the Lucaffe Piccolo & Dolce from Espresso Tiamo. This one put a smile on my face.

First, make sure you know the type of pod your espresso machine takes before you order. These are E.S.E. pods which are used by the more expensive machines, especially those from Italy. I have tried the Lucaffe sampler pack earlier and found Piccolo & Dolce to be one of my favorites. This is my third order and won't be my last. The coffee has a light taste that is easy to drink straight with little or no sugar. The creama is a delight. You cannot do better than this flavor from Lucaffe.I've ordered about a dozen times from Espresso Tiamo and have never had a problem. Roberto is a really nice guy and will bend over backwards for you, the customer.
