Item Description

This coffee is produced from trees of the rare and celebrated botanical variety known as Geisha. It is an Ethiopia-derived variety. This is a fully washed and sun dried coffee.

Smooth, balanced and syrupy with lush floral-tones - sweet honeysuckle, lavender and jasmine - and notes of orange and lemon zest.

Accolades:
"Crisply lush with floral notes of startling complexity. Ripe lemon, cocoa, moist pipe tobacco, and floral notes that range from dry lavender through a spicy rose to a heavy-scented honey suckle. Balanced acidity; buoyant, silky mouthfeel. Rich, deep, flower-saturated finish." (Coffee Review, January 2012)

Reviews

very smooth coffee
Robert Wong

The coffee is rich and smooth. We brewed this coffee using a french press. The aroma is very nice and the taste of the coffee was very enjoyable, smooth and not as acidic as regular coffee. It tasted more on the fruity side. The price is reasonable for this type of coffee.

Absolutely Outstanding!!

This is where it is at for anyone who appreciates a quality cup o' joe. Cocoa and floral notes are truly pronounced with a remarkable honey finish. Worth every penny ... so much so that I am ordering my 3rd 1/2 pound of this coffee since I tried it a month ago.
