This works perfectly for pods. I have owned a Melitta pod maker for several years and have refused to buy a Keurig because of the ridiculous cost of K-cups. However, my family received a Keurig B60 for Christmas and we were out of counter space. I agreed to keep the Keurig only if I could use my pods in it. I tried the "My K-Cup Adapter" for brewing your own ground coffee and the results were terrible. After checking out several pod adapter products I decided on The Green Cup and ordered through Amazon. It arrived today and I promptly tried it out with one of my pods. (The Green Cup comes with simple instructions for balling up the pod.) The results were fantastic. The coffee was actually better than from the pod maker (which tends to be temperamental with non-Melitta pods). The coffee brewed/dispensed a bit slower than with an actual K-Cup, but it tasted excellent. I think this product is better than some of the other options I looked at because the cup is only the size of a K-Cup, and does not require the removal of the cup caddy like the My K-Cup does. The small Green Cup size means the pod fills the cup tightly, and the Keurig actually punctures the top of the pod like it does a K-Cup. I think this is why it dispenses a little more slowly, as the pod is compacted, but it allows for adequate steeping and the resulting coffee was robust without bitterness. I feel confident enough in The Green Cup to retire the Melitta, while sticking with the much more economical (and just as tasty) coffee pods. It's the best of both worlds, as in a pinch the K-Cups are more readily available locally, but I normally order pods from Amazon for about four bucks for a box of 18. It also has the advantage of being able to handle a wider range of coffee pod sizes than what Melitta could without constant tweaking. Overall I am very pleased with the product and recommend it. The instructions do say, however, that it is not compatible with the B40 model Keurig. I am not sure why, and if I ever find someone with the B40 I will check it out to be sure. I don't know much about the Keurigs, but it looked like the new B40's have all three cup sizes, just no digital display. Perhaps it has something to do with water flow regulation? I don't know; but it works great in my B60. I don't understand the 1 star review, as there is no way I could see the grounds go through the pod unless for some unknown reason the pod was being ripped open before insertion.UPDATE: I contacted the seller about the B40 compatibility and they confirmed that the older, original B40 Keurigs are not compatible because Keurig used a different size cup housing in that model compared to other models. However, the newer B40 Elite model with the 3 cup sizes has switched to the standard housing so they should be fine. (Must be the newer ELITE model.) VERY prompt, informative, and courteous response by the seller!

I love this little green cup. The package came with 2 green cups and each had their own cap. I love how I can just rinse it out and let it dry, then it's ready for the next cup. The coffee pods you have to buy for this little cup taste delicious and are much cheaper than the k-cups, if you know how to look. I buy "Good as Gold 100% Colombian Coffee Pods" here in amazon and also the very own "Green Cup Coffee Pods" from the same brand as the green cups.Great investment, like I said, if you know how to look this can be much cheaper than the k-cups.

These guys were at my local Whole Foods demoing their product, so I decided to try out the Green Cup and bought a starter pack. It works really well, and the Brioni Coffee I got with it is delicious (Brioni's Blend). I just ordered some refills, and am spreading the word at my office. It makes me feel way less guilty about using the Keurig brewer.
